What the levels mean
A level says how much we know about who is behind a payTo wallet, and how we know it. It says nothing about quality, support or whether you should buy. A level can go down again when what it rests on no longer holds.
Listed
A listing names this wallet as its own, nothing more. We read the service's 402 answer, so price and description are real, but nobody has proved that the wallet belongs to the people behind the listing.
Receipts: yes, marked "listed". Invoices: no.
Wallet verified
The wallet itself proved it belongs to the listing: it signed a message for us, or it sent 0.01 USDC from itself to 402lounge.
Receipts: yes, with the seller's name. Invoices: no. A verified wallet is not a verified business.
Entity verified
We know the legal entity: company name, address, VAT ID and the person who acts for it, checked against the EU VAT database and the EU sanctions lists, with a confirmed email address on its domain, and approved by a person at 402lounge. The wallet is tied to that entity in our register.
Receipts: yes, with the legal entity. Invoices: with level 3. Companies can book these payments with a proper counterparty.
Invoicing
The seller has given 402lounge a written mandate to issue invoices in its name and for its account. Buyers get one invoice per month per seller, with the right VAT treatment, instead of hundreds of transfers to a wallet address.
Receipts: yes. Invoices: yes, monthly, exportable to accounting software.
For companies whose agents pay
Buyers climb the same ladder. Every account starts on level 1, and each level adds what the next document needs.
Account
An agent signed up with its wallet. Nothing else is needed, not even an email.
Receipts: yes, for every payment of the company wallets, with the agent that paid.
Company
The company name, the address, the country and an email that confirmed a code. A VAT ID is not needed for this level, so small businesses get here too.
Monthly documents per seller: yes. With Books they carry the tax case.
Invoice ready
The VAT ID is confirmed by VIES, the EU VAT database. That is what an invoice with the reverse charge needs on both sides.
Invoices from sellers on level 3, issued in their name: yes, with Books.
What a level is not
Not a rating, not a recommendation, not a promise that the service works tomorrow. Two services on level 1 can be very different. The level only tells you that the money goes where the listing says it goes.
Levels can drop
If a wallet is removed from a listing, if the 402 answer starts paying out to an unknown address, or if a company check expires, the level goes down. The page shows when it last changed.
